A lot of people from the WWE have a story that revolves around a controversy of some sort these days since the company seems to be conducting their business in a few very shady ways. But among them all Lilian Garcia is one of those that doesn’t seem to have a huge problem with the McMahon’s. If she does then there’s not a lot of information to be found out in the open, as her career in the company was far more muted than many considering the fact that she was an announcer. This almost seemed to put her above and beyond a lot of the nonsense that went on, and still does, behind the scenes, which is no doubt something to be thankful for. As a part of the show she was someone that had the chance to utilize her singing talent and then step out of the ring to simply watch as things unfolded. Plus, being the announcer she didn’t seem to take nearly as much verbal abuse.

10. She’s admitted to being a “military brat”.
Thanks to her first eight years being spent in Spain due to her father being stationed at the American Embassy she was educated in Spain and moved back to America when her family made their way stateside.
9. For a while she used to sing the national anthem at WWE shows.
If you’ve ever watched the show then you know that Lilian has an amazing voice that you can’t help but listen to. From the national anthem to the entrance song for a wrestler, to simply announcing the competitors, her voice has been one of the most well-known in the WWE for quite a while.
8. Her debut in the WWE came in 1999.
She was a part of the WWE for nearly two decades by the time she finally left, which is an impressive feat since no matter if a person is a wrestler or not the average tenure isn’t anywhere close to this for many people. A few years to a decade is pretty average for a lot of people.
7. She was part of a story line with a wrestler in 2005.
Lilian had an on screen romance with the wrestler known as Viscera back in the day, which surprised a lot of people since it wasn’t exactly expected. But that romance ended when Viscera decided to cast her aside for the Godfather’s ladies that made up the ho train that was an abolished idea after a while.
6. In 2016 she departed the WWE to care for her father.
Lilian left the WWE to go and take care of her father as it says, and she did come back to announce that her father had passed and she appreciated the support that she had received over the years. She did return for several events after her retirement, though she has since moved on.
5. She joined an MMA organization as an announcer in May of 2019.
Honestly she is still a skilled announcer and is more than worth the price of her services since she’s got what it takes to succeed pretty much anywhere considering that her voice is quite strong but also very resonant in a way that is kind of enchanting.
4. From 2007 to 2012 she’s suffered a couple of injuries.
In 2007 she tore her ACL while skiing, in 2009 she was almost robbed and suffered a scraped elbow when she was knocked down by her robber. Then in 2012 she was struck by a car and hospitalized with several injuries. Amazingly though she was released from the hospital only two days later.
3. Lilian had a special connection with Molly Holly, one of WWE’s former female wrestlers.
Apparently Molly Holly helped Lilian with reconnecting to God, which is something she credits the woman with in a big way. One thing that’s fairly obvious is that a lot of people in the business did have a very real connection with each other and did try to help each other out at times.
2. She has a rather impressive presence on social media.
It’s not too surprising to see that she has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media since she’s been one of the least visible but still very impressive people on the show. On top of that her time as a singer has definitely helped her career and has given her a great deal of exposure.
