It’s amazing how far LEGO has come. Think about it. Back in the 80s when you played with LEGO you just kind of played with LEGO. You put the pieces together and that was pretty much that. But today? The only comparison I can make about LEGO is Disney. Seriously. They’ve turned this “product” into a multi media conglomerate that is dominating everything it touches. It’s not just LEGO pieces anymore. It’s LEGO figures, LEGOland, there’s a LEGO Hotel, animated series, and of course the movies which have been highly successful. And trust me, there’s way more than that when it comes to merchandise.
I wouldn’t be surprised if LEGO actually made their own version of a Disney Park somewhere in the near future. In anticipation of the new LEGO Batman Movie which is set to be released in February, stop motion enthusiasts Kyle Roberts and Nathan Poppe have created a video that people are gonna love. They’ve taken the LEGO Batman Animated series and used a 1990s Tim Burton Batman twist. Check out the video below:
Here’s an official synopsis from Kyle Richards
There’s only one way “Batman: The Animated Series” could get more awesome and that’s brick by brick. Stop motion enthusiasts Kyle Roberts and Nathan Poppe are back with their latest reimagined ’90s cartoon opening credits. This time they’ve given it a LEGO twist because “The LEGO Batman Movie” hits theaters Feb. 10 and nobody’s looking forward to it more than these nerds.
