10 Things You Didn’t Know about John Landgraf

When speaking about a guy like John Landgraf you might take a look at him and think that he’s had a long life filled with a lot of accomplishments and that things might have always had a certain risk of failure but were typically easy enough that he plowed right through them. That’s hard to say yes or no to since he is successful and he does have a lot of clout, more so in fact than many people you might take notice of, but at the same time it does seem as though his life has had a fair amount of obstacles thrown in the path that he’s had to hurdle. That being said it’s still kind of obvious that he’s the type of person that has manage to find a way past, over, around, or through them in an effort to obtain the life that he wanted. Where he is now does seem to indicate that he’s a man that knows how to make the world around him do as he wants in order to get the job done.

Here are a few things about John that you might not have known.

10. He spent a lot of his childhood moving from one place to the next.

This can be kind of taxing for a kid and very lonely since it’s hard to make long-term friendships and even connect to a place if you keep moving from one spot to another. For some people this is a huge detriment, but there are those that can somehow turn this to their advantage.

9. John sang in a barbershop quartet in college.

How you view those that sing in groups such as this doesn’t really indicate what kind of person you are, it simply says that you do or don’t appreciate this kind of music. To some it’s enchanting and nice to listen to, while to others it’s a bit corny and even laughable. But then again, it’s a matter of personal taste.

8. His current net worth is around $30 million.

You could easily say that he’s reached a place in his life that is more than comfortable and affords him pretty much whatever he wants. This kind of net worth makes a lot of people assume that he’s simply untouchable and is on a different level than the average person. Financially-speaking this is true, but from a different standpoint he’s just another person.

7. He’s currently in his 50s.

If you take a look at the list of accomplishments that he can boast on his resume and in his life then you’ll understand that he’s a very successful human being that hasn’t be idle in his time on earth and is likely to do even more before his final moment comes.

6. Throughout his career he’s been involved in a lot of movies.

Julie Larisa from Information Cradle has shown that behind the scenes obviously he’s been someone that has contributed and done a lot to make sure that some movies have gone off without a hitch. Sometimes it’s the person behind the scenes that makes things happen so that what we see on screen can actually take place.

5. He’s adamant about the fact that the next American Crime Story won’t affect the 2020 election.

It’s kind of amusing to think that people might actually be swayed towards the Republican vote by watching a TV show showing one of the worst moments in history for the Democrats, but he’s one of those that is standing firm about the show not being able to have any impact on the coming election.

4. He’s been praising Disney for buying his company.

As Daniel Holloway from Variety might agree, looking at this from a financial standpoint it makes sense to be happy about this since Disney is a big corporation and they tend to bring a lot of funding to whatever they purchase. But it’s hard to fully agree since what the House of Mouse has already done to some properties it owns has been kind of cringe-worthy.

3. He keeps his social media private for the most part.

There are a few people in show business that have started doing this for various reasons while many others still keep their social media open for their fans to see. It’s all a matter of what folks want people to see to be honest.

2. John states that Marvel put a stop on a Deadpool series that Donald Glover was working on.

The animated series was put on hold and then stopped altogether even though Glover said he had plenty of time to work on it. One has to wonder if it will ever be considered in the near future as another prospect worthy of being developed.

1. He’s all about gaining more diversity in the industry.

Basically he wants more people of color and women behind the cameras and in positions of authority, which is great so long as they have the skill and the experience to make it work.

He does have a few very good ideas.
