I don’t know Jodie Sweetin from a personal level by any means. What I do know is that she captured my heart along with many others as the adorable Stephanie Tanner on Full House as a child. While I can’t possibly put myself in her shoes as a child star I can only imagine the pressure she went through not to mention desire to break away from her character in real life. I bring this up because Sweetin has not had an easy adult life. She’s been addicted to drugs, alcohol, and has gotten into a series of awful relationships. Not to mention she’s been divorced 3 times.
But Sweetin has tried time and time again to get her life in order. And it seems in the past 2 or 3 years that she’s taken a much more straight and narrow path. But in recent news her past has seemed to daunt her. According to People
Jodie Sweetin‘s ex-fiancé, Justin Hodak, was arrested on Monday for violating a restraining order Sweetin took out on him, PEOPLE confirms. Hodak, 40, was seen by police driving in front of Sweetin’s home, and was arrested and charged with violating the order, a spokesman tells PEOPLE. It’s unclear if Hodak has retained a lawyer or what his bond is at this time. The arrest marks Hodak’s third in just over a week, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s website.
Sweetin, 35, was granted a temporary restraining order against Hodak, alleging in court documents obtained by PEOPLE that he had “engaged in violent arguments with Sweetin, in which he threw objects at her. Following a prior break-up with Sweetin, he came to the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, where Sweetin works as an actress, demanding to see her and engaging in a dispute with the security guards there. He also waited for Sweetin to confront her at her children’s school.”
This one’s not even Sweetin’s fault and she has no responsibility for this. At this point I think that Jodie Sweetin just needs a nice guy. Get away from the bad boys. Settle down with a “normal” dude who likes to read the paper in the morning and has zero desire to party. I feel like deep down Sweetin wants something like this but continues to pull away. Again, what do I know? I just know her pattern has been a very destructive one.
