With the real-life craziness of the 2016 presidential election, it’s easy to believe that pretty much anything can happen in politics nowadays, and Jimmy Kimmel and his team took advantage of that for the latest Lie Witness News last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. For this edition of Lie Witness News, Kimmel asked people on the streets what they thought about the vice presidential candidate that Donald Trump had chosen earlier in the day.
So who did Kimmel tell people that Donald Trump had selected as his VP? The fake candidates ranged from Gary Busey to Arnold Schwarzenegger to Dennis Rodman to even Trump’s daughter, Ivanka. As usual, the responses that Kimmel received were insane, particularly from the guy pictured above in the blue polo shirt who thought that Dennis Rodman’s work in North Korea was a game-changer.
“Not many people have gone to North Korea and improve U.S. relations over there in a good amount of time,” he explained. “I think what he did over there, specifically with basketball, and just talking to Kim Jong Un is a big step for America.”
