There was a movie on Lifetime last night called “Infidelity in Suburbia.” I didn’t see it but from the title I’m pretty sure I get the gist of what the movie was about. However, what I did take notice of was the movie’s star Sarah Butler. I’ve never seen her before and I personally think she’s got “the look.” The look I’m referring to is one of a starring role on a television show. I liken Sarah Butler very much to Katie Lowes. P.S. I went to high school with Katie Lowes but that’s an entirely different article. Like Lowes, Butler has had a “journey” career in acting. She’s currently 32 years old and has never really had what you’d consider a break.
Remember, Lowes too is in her thirties. In fact Lowes is 35. As we all know Lowes plays Quinn on the ABC hit Scandal. The biggest role to date for Butler has been in the movie I Spit on Your Grave and its sequel in 2015. Butler’s got some short films and other projects in development but the cute actress from Washington deserves a break.
We need her to get some kind of roll on a hit TV show. I’m calling the name right now. Sarah Butler. A native of Puyallup, Washington, Butler was interested in the arts while growing up. She sang in choirs, entered singing competitions, and performed in high school and community theatre. She relocated to Los Angeles to study theatre at the University of Southern California, and then played Belle, the princess in Beauty and the Beast, for a year and a half at Disneyland. She dropped out of college, focused on finding a talent agent, and began auditioning for work in television and film. Since that time she’s bounced around from role to role and I’d like to see her find a home.
