I Paint My Visions Because I Want To Make People Dream

When I meditate, or listen to music, I have visions and then I paint them. Most of what I see is fantasy with symbols and as you can see I’m strongly inspired by Japan where I lived for 5 years.

I would like my paintings to give some kind of dream worlds to the people looking at them, like when you listen to a fairy story when you are a kid. I think the material world is too cold and we need a bit of poesy in our lives.

I paint since the age of 4, but I really decided to study art at 16, since then I have painted every day because making art is my life, my air, and water. I mostly do oil-painting and I always try to invent new techniques, that’s how I can make oil looking like watercolor or making light with normal colors.

It takes quite some time to paint one (at least one month), for exemple the celestial dragon took me 7 months, but I think it’s worth it.
