I read today that Donald Trump spent millions of dollars trying to remove this clip from the internet. Honestly I have no idea if it’s true. When I saw it, my first inclination was to make fun of it. I mean yeah, it’s ridiculous and absurd but think about it for a second. It seems to me that this might actually benefit him. He looks and acts almost like a normal human being who can have fun, and it’s quite a contrast to the dour, po-faced, imperious image he’s been trying to present as a ‘serious’ politician.
Not that you needed me to say this but I’ll be the first to tell you that I’m anti-Trump, but this video is a bit endearing. The only people likely to be bothered about this are his own supporters, who have this weird God-emperor fantasy of him that might be threatened by Trump acting like a dork.
But it’s acting like a dork that’s human. It’s nice to see Trump just get up and dance. It’s also too bad he’s giving his speech right now and I’m getting angrier by the second. Still though, if you want to grin a little bit while watching, just check out this GIF
