Cell phones being used, while I’m trying to teach. They can be a great tool, if used appropriately, but they’re often a distraction. One biggest pet peeves is having a student put down their cell phone and then ask, “So, what are we doing?” Right after I’ve finished explaining what we’re doing. (Insert double rye roll.)
