The teaser for Heidi Klum’s gruesome Halloween costume this year is already making people’s stomachs churn.
The supermodel shared a cryptic close-up ahead of her annual Halloween celebrations, prompting fans to throw out all kinds of guesses about what costume she will come out with this year.
“Heidi treats Halloween like an Olympic event at this point. The teasing alone guarantees everyone will be guessing right up until the reveal,” one commented online.

Halloween is not just an ordinary holiday or an excuse to dress up for Heidi Klum.
The 53-year-old supermodel is known for spending months planning her costumes, working with a team of special-effects artists, spending hours with makeup professionals, and stepping out in the most outlandish looks.
Klum has brought some of the wildest ideas to life over the years, transforming into a worm in 2022 and going as a skinless human body in 2011.
She and her husband Tom Kaulitz also dressed up as an alien and astronaut in 2019.
Klum offered a glimpse of her costume for this year on Instagram on Saturday.
Her close-up image did not reveal anything more than a slimy, unsettling appearance.
“What’s my costume? One week to go…” she wrote online, adding a string of Halloween-themed emojis.
Many tried to guess what her Halloween 2026 costume would be
Fans began brainstorming in the comments section, saying it looked like organs or something slimy or underwater.
“Ursula,” was one guess, while another said it “looks like organs.”
“Coral reef,” said another.
“The zombies from The Last of Us,” said another.
Some people also guessed she may have taken inspiration from the movie The Substance, which features some grotesque body horror scenes.
Klum revealed last month that she was already hard at work, putting her upcoming costume together.
“It goes very well with red wine,” she told People in September. “It’s very, very bloody.”
Many wondered whether the hint had anything to do with her partnership with Apothic Wine for their limited-edition Apothic Type ‘A’ Blood Bags.

Last year, Klum hosted the 25th anniversary of her popular Halloween bash, and she blew her fans’ minds by stepping out as the mythological Medusa.
Her entire body was covered in green scales, and her hair was covered in moving snakes.
She also had a long tail following her around.
The Halloween icon has been hosting her popular N.Y.C. Halloween party, with its “no costume-no entry” rule, for over two decades.
Fans see her as the “Queen of Hollywood,” a title she now takes very seriously by trying to outdo herself every year.
“I embrace that title! And I always want to live up to it, year after year,” she told the Hollywood Reporter in 2018.

The supermodel explained that her love for dressing up began as a child growing up in Cologne, Germany. She fondly remembered the country’s annual Karneval celebration being all about candy and costumes.
Later, when she moved ot the U.S., she “fell in love with Halloween” and the “spookiness” of the holiday.
“All that was missing was a fantastic party,” she added. “It felt like a real opportunity for me.”
The very first party she hosted in 2000 saw a number of celebrities from the world of fashion, music, and entertainment. There was even a touch of royalty, owing to disgraced former Prince Andrew being there.
“For it being my first party, the turnout was great. Way better than I expected. Prince Andrew was there!” she told the outlet in 2018.
“His justification for not wearing a costume was, ‘I’m not Prince Andrew. I came dressed as Prince Andrew!’ And we just let him in. It was funny,” she recalled.

Klum explained that the reason she has been “doing crazy, elaborate outfits as the host” is so that her guests would feel encouraged to follow.
“It’s worked because, over the years, people have become increasingly more outrageous with their costumes,” she said.
