This is hands down the biggest news report of the day. If any of you parents are out there reading this I’m pretty sure that the world is now coming to an end. One of my best experiences in life is taking my son to get a happy meal at McDonald’s. It has absolutely nothing to do with the poor quality food I’m allowing him to ingest in his mouth and everything to do with the experience. I love looking at his face when he’s surprised by what toy he’s going to get. I love getting in the car and asking him questions to during the ride. If anything it’s a bonding experience more than anything else. Plus that double quarter pounder with cheese I always order for myself really hits the spot.
But could these days be coming to a close? In something I never expected to happen in my lifetime (well, that’s a stretch but something not this quickly), McDonald’s is teaming up with UberEats to deliver food to your door. This is really more or less Pink Dot from the old days and Grubhub from the new, but UberEats sounds a lot cooler.
