I think I need to start posting more video of sharks or just animal attacks. This is what the Discovery Channel and National Geographic’s job is but apparently just Shark Week does that now. So what do we do the other 51 weeks of the year when these channels are posting reality shows? I have no idea. I need to get my shark fix on and I think that you guys need to as well. Anyway, let’s have a look at this incredible video taken in 2013.
Imagine you’re the photographer in your tiny little shark cage. Your job is to spot a great white shark. You have a beautiful specimen in front of you, not to mention a pretty large one at that. Out of nowhere an even bigger great white comes into the frame to take a bite of the original great white. There aren’t many moments like this captured on film so I have to say I’m impressed.
You know what I’m not impressed about? Shark cage evolution. You’d think they’d have a better shark cage for humans at this point right? Look at the guy in this video. His arms are hanging out of this thing just waiting to be bitten off. I don’t get it. I mean I guess I understand the whole “don’t block the camera” thing but there’s gotta be some kind of solid glass material that wouldn’t hinder a camera’s ability to film, right? Anyone? Maybe not.
