Here are five fun facts about the new cast that also includes Keke Palmer and Aaron Tveit.

1. Julianne Hough was in a Harry Potter Film

We all know that Julianne Hough, who will be playing Sandy on Grease: Live, has starred in such films as Rock of Ages and Footloose. However, Hough’s first on-screen appearance was in the 2001 film Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone when she was 13.  She played a student at Hogwarts, but sadly she was not credited for her appearance.

2. Aaron Tveit could have been Finn Hudson

Aaron Tveit, who will be playing Danny Zuko on Grease: Live, made his first television appearance on the CW Network series Gossip Girl. He appeared on the series ten times between 2009 and 2012 as Trip Van der Bilt. The same year he won that role was when he auditioned for the role of Finn Hudson on the FOX musical Glee. Had he won that part, we never would have been able to see Tveit in the critically acclaimed drama Graceland, which ended its three season run last year.

Her followup album, called Identified, came out in 2008 and had one single called “Sneakernight.”

Her career really began to take off in 2008 when she took on the role of True Jackson on the Nickelodeon series True Jackson, VP. She would earn $20,000 per episode, which made her the fourth most highest paid child star on television at the time.

5. Mario Lopez is also an Author

Mario Lopez will be playing Vince Fontaine on Grease: Live and has been a staple on television since before most of his co-stars were even born. Aside from starring on series like Saved by the Bell and Nip/Tuck, Lopez is also an author. He has written three non-fiction books. The first was a health and fitness book released in 2008.
