Just when you think you may have reached some kind of cosplay apex, something like this comes out of nowhere. I’ve praised costume making in the past. I’ve praised incredible photography in the past. I’ve even praised just how amazing make up has evolved over the years. But when you start making costumes that are “alive” that’s when you’re starting to reach some next level cosplay. And that’s exactly what we have here. You might be familiar with Gray Fox from Metal Gear. The photo up top is a ninja rendered Gray Fox and just looks cooler than any other Gray Fox picture which is why it’s up there. But in case you don’t know him:
Gray Fox, real name Frank Jaeger, was a mercenary and former agent of U.S. Special Forces Unit Foxhound. Originally a child soldier, Jaeger was the only operative in Foxhound to achieve the codename “Fox,” the unit’s highest commendation, and was decorated five times.
Now that you are more familiar with the character, check out this sick cosplay below. The only thing we see is a mask but do we really need to see anything else? Also, we need to do some more research into Tokugawa Heavy Industry. Just kidding, it’s a fictional company from Metal Gear itself. Man this thing is brilliant.
