General Hospital fans are not happy about the many things that Sonny and Carly are going through. They have been through so much in their lives, and to find out that the baby she is carrying — by huge surprise at her age and at this time in her life, no less — is suffering from a horrible health situation that will affect the baby’s life and the life of both of them forever is just crushing. We think that they will love this baby no matter what, but there is so much heartbreak in learning just how severe this problem really is. Spina Bifida is nothing to mess with. It’s a horrible disease that will affect this child from the day he or she is born and never allow this child to live a ‘normal’ life. This is a horrible realization for all of them, and learning the extent of this baby’s issues is just as hard as anything they’ve been through.
Nelle has learned that Shiloh wants to get his son back, and she’s prompted to call Michael and meet with him. We still don’t believe that she has anything good in her life that she wants to offer him, but we do think there might be a small chance she’s more afraid of seeing her baby go to this horrible man than she is seeing Michael and his family get this baby. Is there a chance she has a shred of kindness in her heart or love for her baby at all? We are not sure. Ava is very unhappy about the article in Crimson, and we aren’t sure she’s going to keep her cool with this one. She’s certainly on the brink of disaster if you ask us, and that’s just one of those things we are not sure we can handle.

Nelle is making some statements that might make Michael think, and we get it. She’s learned that Shiloh wants his baby back, and she might be trying to figure out what she needs to do that’s right. She is, after all, the mother of this baby. It’s not Willow, and Shiloh is not the father of this baby, either. However, only she and one other person know the truth about this, and she’s not about to let that person tell the truth first, and she’s not about to let this man get this baby from this couple. She is Wiley’s mother, and she is going to find a way to make sure that baby stays put with a family who loves and cares for him and not a man who will destroy his life before he even has a chance to make one for himself. But, she doesn’t want Michael and his family to have this baby, either. She’s struggling hard with this one, and there is little that she feels might be the right decision. We cannot help but wonder if we can find something else to handle here.
There is another chance, too, that there might be more to these people than what is going on. Michael has decided he has to come clean to Sasha about something, so he will open up to her on this day, and we don’t know how it will go. Will she open up to him an be okay with it because she has secrets, too, or no? We struggle to decide.
