General Hospital spoilers this week have had a lot of Nelle in them. They seem to want us to like her now that we are done hating her. She did a lot of horrible things, but writers want to get us to like her and they are working hard on getting us to come around to be friendly with her in our minds. She’s been mugged — and it’s always hard to be mad at someone who was mugged. She’s been involved in a lie, which is what made her do all she did. It’s hard to be mad at someone for taking revenge only to find out they feel awful about it because they didn’t need this revenge to happen.
Now she’s furiously in love with Michael, the son of the couple she tore apart and lied to. She’s upset and unhappy, and she’s got a lot of issues to deal with. We also know that she’s been offered a job and has a chance to sit down and stay where she is. She’s going to stay in Port Charles, and we think she will pursue things with Michael.
But will her boyfriend’s parents come around? That’s not something we see coming, to be honest. Or will Carly and Sonny realize that life is too short to be angry with someone who was only doing what she felt was right given the circumstances she later learned were not correct? She might not ever find that they like her, and that’s going to be something she has to deal with.
