Some might say there are those who should cosplay and those that shouldn’t. Feel free to ignore this latter statement and be more like this crazy cosplayer portraying Batman at Gen Con. He’s having fun at least and doing what he wants. If he embarrasses himself then he does so on his own time and he’s hurting no one. More than that however he’s at least getting into the act and allowing his cosplay to be somewhat fun and engaging. Of course photoshopping him into nearly every available space possible is a good laugh too.
Look girls I’ve got wings too! Can I be in the group? I can be the Scary Fairy, or Batingale, or Batsy! Hello?
The city needs me! First I need a little help from the city, and then Batman will be on the case! Hello? A little help?
Zorro had a hang-ahem, he was sick today so Batzorro is filling in! Na na na na na na na na na Batzorro!
Hey now, it takes a lot of skill to turn from a super-charged and athletic playboy into a pudgy, over-enthusiastic crime-fighter. Villains take note
They need me! They really need me! Yay! Now as soon as I can figure out how to get down from here it’ll be Batman to the rescue!
I get the feeling that Superman might have laughed more than grimaced at the image of this fabled Batman coming to challenge him. He might have told the poor guy to just go home.
Looks like cousin Larry got a hold of the Bat signal again. Sigh.
You’ll never defeat me pool noodle man! I’ll beat you at your own game, for I too have replaced my arms with pool noodles!
When you put your arms up like this it’s so much more fun kids! Hello?
We are the fairies three! Oh that’s not right…
Of course, I whispered them a couple years ago, when I was still in decent shape. Since then no one wants to hear me whispering, or getting close to them, or even being within shouting distance. But I whispered all the same….
I can raise my arms higher than yours! That means I win, right?
Just a note, don’t mess around or tease a guy that can lift more than two of you might weigh. (of course ten seconds later the foam rubber “plates” slipped off of the bar)
I’m hanging like a bat! That’s because….I’m Batman!
If you hang your arms down like this you get this tremendous head rush you guys! Hello? Is anyone listening to me?
Call me silly, it’s been done before, but Tink actually looks terrified to see Batman at that moment. In truth he looks a little maniacal as he stands in the shadows, looming, ever looming, and grinning like a cat who’s found the yellow-haired canary. Oh that’s disturbing.
See? Photoshop can be so much fun and it can afford us with so many wonderful opportunities to make light of an otherwise awkward situation.
