Robby Hayes made a bid for Amanda Stanton’s heart on “Bachelor in Paradise,” but we’ve just received confirmation that Amanda has called it off. Hayes was recently accused of cheating on her at a Zac Brown Band concert, but the rumors were quickly quashed. It seems that Amanda herself is not sure how Robby is taking the split and we’ve yet to hear his side of the situation. He hasn’t been having the best of luck in the romance department, but Robby is an interesting guy. There’s a lot about him that fans don’t know so here are five things that will help you to know Robby Hayes a little better.
1. He’s a record setting athlete
Many of Robby’s fans don’t know that he was a highly competitive swimmer at FSU. He even set a record as he competed for a place on the US Olympic Trials. In addition to being a strong swimmer, he regularly plays golf and he also plays on a softball league. His involvement in sporting activities help to keep his physique in top condition.
2. His dad is his role model
We hear so many tales of sons and dads who didn’t connect or form a relationship, but this isn’t the case for Robby Hayes. He’s vey proud of the fact that his father serves as his mentor and he’s always been there for him. Robby’s dad has been there when he had a competition, when he reached a major life goal or when he achieved a milestone in life. Robby’s fortunate to have a dad that has always been involved in his life.
3. He believes in higher education
Although Robby Hayes has achieved a decent measure of fame already, he understands the value of education. He is currently working on his Master’s degree and attends the University of Miami. This young man is not putting all of his eggs in one basket. While he was at FSU, he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He took a job at a pool company as sales manager after earning his degree from FSU. He is busy ensuring that he’ll have all of the tools to move ahead in life and isn’t depending on fame in the entertainment business to carry him through life.
4. He cares about young people
Robby spent several years volunteering with an organization that encourages young people. From 2003 to 2007, he worked with Young Life, which is a Christian ministry that reaches out to adolescents. He took time to become involved and present to act as a role model and set an example for youth who are still in their formative years. This tells us a lot about what kind of father the handsome bachelor will be. His father set a great example for him to follow and although he doesn’t have any children of his own yet, he’s there for other kids who need his help.
5. Robby wants a traditional family with lots of kids
Bachelorettes who consider Robby as a potential life partner need to be aware that he has some serious plans to raise a family. He’s a genuine guy who is motivated to build a solid financial future, but his major goals are to have a family that includes more than two children. He’s made it clear that he wants lots of kids. He comes from a family that includes five children and a dog. He had a great family life growing up so he knows the right way to do it.
