Lisa Hochstein is one of the stars of the reality television series ‘The Real Housewives of Miami’. She recently hit the headlines after she evacuated Hurricane Irma on a private jet; an action for which she was strongly criticized. It was not just the fact that she fled the area, it was also that she posted pictures of herself with her children and her dogs in front of their private jet on the social media networking site Instagram.
However, Hochstein has defended her actions saying that originally, she and her family had planned to stay in their home and only decided to flee when they realized the hurricane wasn’t slowing down and was causing devastation. At the last minute, they accepted the invitation of friends to stay in safety at their home. Using the private jet was the fastest way to do this, she explained, and the social media posts were not intended to cause offense.

1. She is Married to Leonard Hochstein
In 2009, Lisa married renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Lenny Hochstein. He is a famous cosmetic surgeon in Miami who trained in the Department of Surgery at Louisiana State University Medical Center. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1990 and he is known in Miami as the ‘Boob God’. The couple live together in Miami and have a son, Logan, who was born in 2015.
2. She Was Once a Model
Prior to becoming a reality television celebrity, Lisa Hochstein took part in beauty pageants and became a model. At the height of her modeling career, she was a Playboy playmate. She appeared in Playboy on three occasions; twice in 2006 and once in 2007. She has since said that she enjoyed posing for Playboy and admired the professionalism of those working for the magazine. However, she admits rushing into posing at such a young age.
3. She is Canadian
Although she now lives in Miami, Florida, and is now an American national, Lisa Hochstein was born in Canada on July 24, 1982. She also has mixed roots as her father is of both German and Scottish descent while her mother is of Jamaican origin.

Lisa Hochstein has always openly admitted that she has had plastic surgery to achieve the figure she has today. This is not surprising considering her husband is a plastic surgery. The procedures she has undergone to date include two breast implant procedures and rhinoplasty. She has said that she would not rule out further plastic surgery in the future.

One of Lisa Hochstein’s goals in life is to become an actress and this was one of the motivations for taking part in the reality series ‘The Real Housewives of Miami’. In 2006, she had a small role as a stripper in a movie called ‘The Last Kiss’. Other than this, she has little to add to her acting resume as yet. However, she remains in the public eye and has a large following on social media sites.
