Charlie Heaton is an English actor who should be best-known as the person who plays Jonathan Byers on Stranger Things. Recently, he showed up in the news because he was turned back at the LAX because the drug-sniffing dogs found faint traces of a white powder on his personal possessions, which an anonymous source has stated to be cocaine. Whether this is true or not, Heaton has become a subject of much discussion in recent times.

Born in East Yorkshire
Heaton was born in a place called Bridlington, which can be found in East Yorkshire. Unsurprisingly, East Yorkshire can be found in the region of Yorkshire and the Humber, possessing both a rural character and a seaside character because of its location. After all, the main economic sector of the region is agriculture, though it is interesting to note that it sees a fair number of people who are visited in seeing its historical landmarks as well as its natural landscapes.
Joined a Noise Rock Band
In time, Heaton moved to London. There, he became a member of a noise rock band called Comanechi, where he played drummer on tour for a time. For those who are unfamiliar with the name, noise rock is a sort of experimental rock that makes extensive use of noise music. It is a product of punk rock, but some of its supporters have called it more of a replacement in the sense that its members have no interest in becoming part of the mainstream, which is relevant because punk rock has been mainstream for decades and decades by this point in time.
Debuted on DCI Banks
Regardless, Heaton had his acting debut in 2015 on a crime drama called DCI Banks, which perhaps unsurprisingly, is centered around a Detective Chief Inspector with the surname of Banks. On that TV show, Heaton’s role appeared in no more than a two-parter, but that was nonetheless enough to make him known, with the result that he showed up in a succession of other small roles in other TV shows in that same year.
Will Be Playing Cannonball on New Mutants
It has been announced that Heaton will be playing the character code-named Cannonball on an upcoming movie called New Mutants. Like the name suggests, New Mutants is centered around a team of teenage mutants from the X-Men franchise, having started out as a replacement of sorts for the original X-Men who had become full-fledged adults over the course of their appearances in the comic books. It is interesting to note that New Mutants is supposed to be a horror movie in the same way that Logan was a western, meaning that it could offer something new.
Missed the Premiere of Stranger Things 2
When he headed into the United States, Heaton was intending to show up at the premiere for Stranger Things 2. However, since he was sent back to England but not arrested, he was unable to show up, with the result that he missed the premiere. Since then, Heaton has issued an apology to fans for being detained, though he stressed that he was neither detained nor charged with a crime for what happened at the airport.
