Bollywood fans are excited by the announcement that there will be a sequel to the hit film “Student of the Year”. The movie will be released November 23, 2018. The hit film about college students stars Tiger Shroff, is produced by Punit Malhotra and Dharma Productions, and directed by Karan Johar. The first installment of the movie helped pivot stars Sidarth Malot and Alia Bhart to fame. The sequel introduces two new co-eds, Bollywood, Dharma Productions and Disney star Tara Sutari and newcomer Ananya Pandey.

She’s the daughter of Chunk Pandey
Acting runs in Ananya Pandey’s blood. Her dad is the popular Bollywood actor Suyash “Chuncky” Pandey. Chunky has starred in over 80 films over the span of his 3 decade career. He started acting in 1987 and played the lead hero in movies through 1992. His acting career took a bit of a slump for a few years, but Chunky made a beloved comeback in 1995 when he began taking roles as a character actor for Bangladesh Cinema. Chunky remains an iconic figure in Indian cinema. He married Ananya’s mother, Bhavna, in 1998. In addition to film, the couple own a stage show in Mumbai, India. Ananya has a younger sister, Rysa.
She’s been photographed a lot
As the daughter of a popular Indian actor, Ananya Pandey is no stranger to movie and pop culture fans. She has been photographed a lot with her family and on her own throughout her busy teenage life. She attended Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai and attends the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She splits her time between her hometown of Mumbai and Los Angeles.
