Children of the 90s rejoice! It’s no secret the last of the millennial generation had some of the best television growing up. Why do you think everyone is in such a hurry to reboot and give sequels to it all? For four years That’s So Raven was one of the top-rated children’s shows on the Disney Channel, earning it two Emmy nominations and a lifetime fandom. Needless to say fans were excited when Raven-Symoné announced that the show would be getting a spinoff. Now we have not one, not two, but three different previews of the spinoff entitled Raven’s Home, which will premiere July 21 on the Disney Channel.
Not only are Raven and Chelsea (Anneliese van der Pol) back, but now you can see the quirkiness that comes with putting their kids Nia (Navia Robinson), Booker (Isaac Brown), and Levi (Jason Maybaum), under one roof. You can also see just how Booker takes after his Mom. Looks like this time around Raven is going to have to be the guide for her child as he finds out what exactly makes their family so special.
Don’t think that that means Raven is going to have home-run Mom moments all the time. The wackiness which made Raven often misinterpret her own visions is what makes her one of the most interesting moms on the block. Sorry kids. Moms have to feed and clothe you, so they get first dibs on embarrassing moments too.
Raven’s Home premieres Friday, July 21st following the premiere of Descendants 2 on Disney Channel.
