I am a dreamer by day, crafter by night, and punster around the clock. Or, that is, who I would love to be. In truth, before pursuing a postgraduate in Edinburgh, I worked as a writer, an orchestra management personnel, and a copywriter.
Over the years, my paper art has always been more of a therapy than a hobby; where my 9 to 5 drains, my after-hours replenishes. Likewise, working on my Master’s thesis during a lockdown is challenging, to say the least. Hence, I started a 100-day paper art project where I craft fictional creatures inspired by Neil Gaiman’s Coraline button-eye characters. Each of these beings is born from a pun, which I illustrate by photographing “Unseen Scenes” where they fiddle with household items when we humans are not looking.
