On Thursday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, we see some moments that are more than a little shocking. When Liam found himself in an accidental moment that led him to board a plane with Ivy to take her to Australia, things began to fall apart for him. For one, he fell down in the plane and injured his head. We are not certain yet if he had some sort of pre-existing condition that caused him to fall or that his fall made even worse, but we know that he’s been having some issues from that fall ever since it happened. The other issue is that when he found himself on that plane with Ivy, he put his engagement to Steffy in a very bad place. Horrified and upset, she cried to Wyatt, Liam’s brother, about what happened and ended up falling asleep in his arms. Naturally, Liam walked in on his brother sleeping innocently with his fiancé, neglected to mention he saw this and promptly left, only to end their engagement the following day. Steffy has no idea what is going on, and Liam has quit his job and packed up his office. He’s told Steffy he’s done with her and he leaves.
We see Liam as he makes his final walk from the offices to his car where he encounters Quinn. She wants her son, Wyatt, to end up with Steffy and she wants Liam out of the picture. So when he falls down onto the ground unconscious after having another of his spells from his head injury, Quinn literally kicks him while he is down. And then she leaves. On Thursday, we saw as she told her son Wyatt that Liam isn’t up to working on getting his relationship with Steffy back on track, so he should go ahead and do it himself. Of course, Wyatt has no idea (yet) that his brother is lying unconscious in a parking lot with God only knows what kind of head injuries going on, and he isn’t aware of what his mother really means. That’s when Wyatt approaches Steffy and tells her to let Liam go and move on. She’s too much of a catch to be hoping for a relationship with a man that doesn’t want her, and he hopes that this information and the friendship that he is offering her will be enough to get her over Liam and into his arms.
We watched as Quinn did horrible things to Liam in the parking lot, but will she go a step further at some point? She admitted to Wyatt recently that she has ended her relationship with Deacon and that he is on a plane heading out of the country. There is some speculation that this might mean she is having a bit of a breakdown and will do something crazy. We suspect that given her actions in Thursday’s show that whatever craziness she has in mind is going to include something to do with Liam, and we can only hope that he is not going to fall victim to his brother’s mother’s crazy manner. There is no telling, but it seems that Friday’s show will have some answers for us as we get further into the week. As for now, this is all we learned watching the show on Thursday.
With the departure of Liam from the company, Brooke wants Bill to know that she is not looking to cause any issues. In fact, she says that all she is interested in doing is being a team player. Of course, we all know that by a team player she means she wants to do whatever she can to make Bill leave Katie and be with her. The only problem with that situation is that she truly does not want to hurt her sister — at least she thinks she doesn’t. If she truly did not want to hurt her sister, she would leave the company and not allow herself to spend any time at all with Bill. The tension between these two is overwhelming and it’s becoming quite obvious. It won’t be long now before Katie figures out that there is something going on, and we have to wonder how she will handle that news given it might be the ultimate betrayal.
