Days of Our Lives is brand-new and promising some hope for Hope. As she sits, life in danger, in jail for killing Stefano, Rafe brings about some news that is going to change her life forever. It’s the news her life is being saved thanks to Stefano, the man she allegedly killed. It turns out, Stefano is alive and well, and he’s not dead. You can’t sit in jail serving a life-long sentence for killing someone who is still alive, so that definitely bodes well for Hope. Unfortunately, we have reason to believe that Hope just isn’t convinced. Even though Andre made it clear that Stefano is still alive and well, Hope doesn’t believe that it’s true. She’s going to escape from prison, which puts her life at risk even further, but she has to prove it herself because she knows how many times she shot Stefano and the improbability that he’s actually dead.
Joey is in a terrible place following the loss of his and Jade’s unborn baby, and he’s devastated. It’s up to Steve and Kayla to find a way to help him with his grief, but it looks like there’s nothing anyone can do for this young man and his feelings of hopelessness. He was so excited to become a father and start a family with Jade, and now he has lost all the hope he once had that anything good will ever come to his life. After the year he had, we can’t even imagine he’s going to snap back from this quickly or without any issues. We are worried for Joey and his life, and we hope Steve and Kayla can help convince him not to do anything stupid.
Chad is still torn between Gabi and Abby, but he and Abby did have a night of passion in their home, and it looks like that might help the two of them with their marriage. JJ Is hopeful that Chad will just go back to Abby so he can work on making Gabi trust him again, but she’s so far gone we don’t imagine he has a chance in the least. Finally, we have to mention that Nicole is just in heaven visiting with Chloe and the baby Chloe just gave birth to. She has no idea the baby is hers, and she’s having a difficult time saying goodbye to the baby she’s already in love with. What will happen?
