Days of Our Lives fans are going to see Sami say goodbye today. She has to get back to her home and her new life, and she cannot stay. She wishes she could, but she has things to do and people to see. She’s been here to help find her son, she’s happy he is not dead, and she’s sure he will either regain his memories at some point or that he will eventually just learn to love these people and accept them for his family.
He will not fail, and she will not allow it. She’s handled Lucas, she’s got a lot of people on her side, and she’s going to leave on what she considers a good note. It won’t matter too much to her that she did leave Rafe in a tough position since his ex-fiance did want to work things out but didn’t because he slept with her when they were broken up. She’s not leaving everyone in a great place, but she’s all right with that.
And we assume we will see more of her in the near future. We assume that she will be back, that things will not go back to the way they were when she was just gone. She had a good time being back, and we assume she will do her part to make it happen again as often as she can. She’s a busy woman, but she will always make time to come home and show her face to her friends and family.
