Days of Our Lives fans got to see a very interesting situation unfold on Friday. There was a lot of drama, as per usual, and it led to many things going the way people didn’t think they might actually go. For one, we got to see as Marlena had the opportunity to evaluate what is going on with Ben. She wanted to know if he was remorseful and if he might just change his ways, and she’s determined that he is. It was a very compelling case he made for himself, but it was not one that really worked out well for anyone else. They were not happy when she found him to be remorseful, and it’s left some people with a bitter taste in their mouths. Ben is a danger to so many, and they all know that he’s resourceful and that he is someone who will go out of his own way to make sure he’s able to get what he wants.
Will brought up to Paul he might want to find some way to get his memory back. What he wants to do might not be the most conventional method for that, but he wants to remember. He’s working very hard to find a way to make sure he can remember who he is and what his life was like before everything he’s done went down, and he’s struggling. Fortunately, we all saw Paul take a moment to really encourage him to continue looking for a way. These two might have what it takes to continue to be together in a manner that’s healthy and happy, but they probably have a very long road ahead of them to make that happen. Their encouragement of one another, however, was nice to see this week.
What’s Up Next This Week on Days of Our Lives?
The newest spoilers tell us there is a moment about to happen that might shake some serious worlds. Hope is going to open up to JJ about what Marlena found when she evaluated Ben. She’s not happy that he’s being released — and we don’t think Marlena is, either — but it’s happening. She’s going to share with JJ this news, knowing it will upset him and the people he loves the most. His sister suffered hard at the hands of this evil man. His ex, Gabi, also suffered hard when he allegedly killed Will and left her daughter without his father. It’s be a very ugly situation, and not many people are able to put that behind them to get their own lives in order right now. When Hope tells JJ this is happening, it will do nothing short of absolutely crush him.
He has to find a way to make sure that their friends and family will be all right, and it’s a situation that doesn’t make either of them happy. Hope, of course, knows how difficult it is for Rafe and his family to see Ben come home after all that happened. He might just find it’s going to be one of the most difficult things he’s had to do in a while when he tells his sister that there is a chance Ben will come back. He’s not happy, JJ isn’t happy, and Hope hurts having to tell them that this is their future. She’s not happy, either.
What Else is Happening As the Week Goes On?
As the week goes on, we’ll see that things take a major turn for the vast majority of people in Salem. With the impending release of Ben, there will be many people who come together to make sure he doesn’t feel welcome. The man has caused so much pain and suffering for so many people, and it’s only natural they don’t want to see him return to this city and wreak more havoc on their lives. There’s nothing they can do, but they can band together; and that is precisely what we will see going into the coming weeks. However, there will continue to be a few people who simply do not come together. That includes people such as Gabi and her old friends, whom she no longer cares for as she begins to plot her own form of revenge against Abigail and Stefan.
