On an all-new Days of Our Lives Monday, we see that things are going to get a bit crazy for Kayla. She’s been through so much. Even if we ignore the fact that she was in some major hot water after she made the decision to remove the heart out of Daniel’s brain-dead body and give it to someone else after the horrible accident that left everyone’s lives changed forever after the New Year as well as everything else before that, she’s had a rough year. Kayla was off to DC to have her medical license examined after doing that. She did what she knew was the right thing, even without the proper documentation and she was paying for it.
On her way to catch her flight, however, she made the decision to stop by Ava’s to confront her about her son and the fact that he was in love with Ava and she was taking advantage of that. Ava did not like what she heard from Kayla, so she hit her over the head hard enough to knock her out and left her for dead. She then bribed Steve to sleep with her if he ever wanted to see Kayla alive again. She then broke Joey’s heart and used Steve and kept Kayla hostage. They did everything that they could as a family, and Joey actually ended up killing Ava. Now Steve is on trial for the death of this deranged woman. Their marriage is falling apart thanks to Ava, and their family is a mess.
Now Kayla is about to have Fynn tell her that she has a subdural hematoma from the head injury she sustained. Now she has even that much more to worry about and to deal with, and it’s not something she’s having a very easy time with. We are not positive, but it seems to us that Kayla is not having a good year, and we don’t see how she can come out of any of this on top. The poor woman is suffering in ways we just cannot imagine, and it’s only going to get worse for her on Monday.
