Days of Our Lives fans are not about to see things change for Chad. He will eventually get out of jail and find his wife, but she will still be Gabby. She will not be back to being Abigail yet, and she might not be back to being this woman anytime in the near future. In fact, she’s not really anywhere to be found these days. He wants his wife back, but his wife seems to be missing inside of the body he knows so well. And she’s going to tell him in no uncertain terms that she’s been with Stefan, she wants to be with Stefan, and she’s not interested in what Abigail has.
Chad’s heart will break. He knows that this is not his wife, but he cannot stop her. He has no idea how to get her back, and he knows that every time Gabby is out in the lead more is just another chance for her to win over the body completely. It’s possible that Abigail could disappear forever inside of her own body, and Chad is terrified that might be happening faster than anyone thinks.
She has to get medical attention for this, but Gabby won’t do that. She likes being who she is, and she wants to be with his brother. She’s not interested in anything that Abby does or wants. She’s taking over, and she’s not ashamed of her actions at this point. It’s bad news for Abby, for Chad, and for everyone.
