Days of Our Lives fans know Lucas is beside himself. There is a chance that Will is alive, and that he’s been held hostage by a crazy doctor all this time. Imagine someone you love going through something like this while you’ve mourned his death and been able to sit back and focus on things that aren’t going well in your own life. They think he’s dead, but he’s not. He’s suffering and they’ve been able to do nothing for him without the knowledge he’s actually alive. It’s been a difficult situation for all of them, and Lucas is taking it hard.
In fact, he’s taking it so hard that he’s doing all he can to make his feelings go away. He’s doing this by putting his mouth to the bottle and trying to numb his pain. It’s not working too well for him, though. He has too much going for him to be dealing with this kind of stuff, and we cannot figure out how he might get through his life feeling like this. Fortunately, he has help.
He’s got Chloe working very hard to keep him out of this bottle and away from the problems he is facing. He’s struggling hard, and she’s there to make sure he stays sober and tries to get his life in order in case Will is found and their lives change yet again. He’s not sure how to handle this, but she’s going to put a stop to the bottle and his attempts.
