Days of Our Lives fans get to see Lani do some serious math. She’s now aware of how far along she is in this shocking pregnancy, and that means she knows without a doubt to whom this baby belongs. She’s not spending a moment worrying about anything right now other than how she is going to break the news to people who will be affected by this situation. For one, Gabi and Eli are a bit on again off again at the moment, and she has no real idea how serious they were or were not when she slept with him.
She also knows how JJ feels about her and how they’ve been navigating their feelings for one another in the past few months, and she knows he is in a dark place right now. The shooting, everything else, and then the fact that Theo will only heal if he is able to spend the following year in South Africa at a special medical program. He’s torn up inside about how unfair all of this is — and learning that she is pregnant might not be what he wants to hear.
And she has to find out how to deal with this. So far she and Kayla are the only ones who know, but that won’t last much longer as we hear JJ is going to overhear this conversation before long. And he might think the baby news is even worse than she thinks it is. And how will that work?
