Days of Our Lives fans are going to see things aren’t going go well for Lani in the near future. We know that she’s got to have the worst feelings in her heart right now, but there doesn’t seem to be a lot she can do about that otherwise. She’s not in a place right now in which she can focus on anything other than her feelings and her way of life, and she’s not going to have much to say about anything. She’s lying to everyone, and that’s hard enough to do without actually caring for all the people she’s lying to.
And we hear that it’s only going to get worse as JJ makes it his point to propose to her. He wants to marry her and spend his life with her raising the baby he is sure is his own. He has no reason to believe that this baby could be anyone else’s baby or that it would be anyone else’s baby, and he’s just as ignorantly blissful as anyone. And that’s not good news.
So what we have right now is a chance to see what he’s going to do. He’s going to buy a ring and make it his chance to change his future, and he will be so happy about it. We can only assume this will crush Lani as she knows how happy this is all making him. How much longer can she keep up this lie as it stands at the moment?
