One day I was laying on the beach staring up at some leaves that were changing to red; I had been in a creative bind and was looking to produce new photos, but I couldn’t think of anything to photograph.
As I gazed around my circle of friends, I noticed the red of Maggie’s hair against the red leaves. In a moment as simple as that, I decided I had to pair the two red palettes together and begin a series simply inspired by nature and Pocahontas.
