It’s a fact that there’s a great deal of amazing talent out there in the world and it’s truly a great privilege to get to see so much of it manifest itself online for all of us to enjoy. One excellent example of this is a movie trailer made by a fan for an upcoming film based on characters from yet another Marvel comic book. And, if you haven’t already, you should definitely check out this fun fan-made Black Panther Vs. Wolverine trailer below and see for yourself.
The movie is called Black Panther vs. Wolverine and it’s slated for a 2018 release. It involves an epic battle between Adamantium and Vibranium. One avid fan took the footage that he was able to acquire and put it together to make his own trailer for the film. And, guess what? It turned out to be something that is really awesome and then some!
So, what exactly do we actually expect from a great trailer? Excitement, that’s what! We want to see all of the most explosive, dramatic, and creative scenes of the entire movie expertly edited together to create something that makes us say, “Wow, I’ve definitely gotta see that movie!”
Now, this guy is only a fan but he succeeded in doing just that. He included every shoot-em-up, blow-em-up, and anything else that is exciting and riveting and strung it all together to wow us with this trailer. The truth is that there’s not a single boring moment in it and that’s truly a testament to his amazing talent. He takes a lot of footage and successfully inserts Hugh Jackman as Wolverine digitally into some great moments from the Black Panther trailer.
Some critics have been saying some very mean things about this trailer, like that it’s choppy and too long but, hey, everybody’s a critic and it usually just means that they’re jealous that they didn’t do it or didn’t even think of it. And, if they could do better, well, then I’m guessing that they probably would but obviously can’t. That’s why they’re just critics and not filmmakers or even fans who could very well have a bright future in the biz.
So, what is the basis of the story behind this trailer? Well, Hugh Jackman’s character, Logan, is just about to go under the knife for the surgery that will be successful at inserting into his body one of the toughest alloy metals that mankind has ever known and it’s called adamantium. Witnessing the intricate surgery that turns Logan into Wolverine is, of course, Black Panther. He wants vengeance and feels the strong need to take action against Wolverine.
From the technical marvels that are depicted at the start of this trailer to the actions scenes, spaceships, massive explosions, and futuristic cities, it’s all the stuff that makes any trailer enticing for audiences. It’s almost hard to believe that it was done by a fan and not by a major studio. So, kudos to Stryder HD, whoever you may be. We’re all looking forward to seeing much more of your future work and seeing you go somewhere in the entertainment business. Keep up the good work. You’re a true visionary!
