I Can’t Wait to Not have to Type Milo Yiannopoulos Ever Again

Milo Yiannopoulos. Milo Yiannopoulos. Milo Yiannopoulos.  I’m just trying to get it out of my system.  The guy whose name I just typed three times has quit his job at Breitbart over some pedophilia remarks made in an interview.   The conservative media personality was under fire for comments he made that appeared to condone sex with minors resulting in his resignation from Breitbart News, the platform that has helped boost his popularity on the far right.

“I would be wrong to allow my poor choice of words to detract from my colleagues important reporting, so today I am resigning from Breitbart, effective immediately. This decision is mine alone.” At a press conference, Yiannopoulos, 32, said that he used a “poor choice of words” in a 2016 interview.

Milo’s been in the news lately because he was allowed on Real Time with Bill Maher.  Maher too has been under fire just for letting him on the show.  Look.  I don’t care about Milo Yiannopoulos.  I never have.  I never will.  I think guys like him are attention grabbers and they shouldn’t really have a place in the media let alone be considered actual people who care and write intelligently about politics.   The guy’s a loon.  It’s that simple.  He’s not good for people.  He’s not good for TV.  The guy isn’t good for anything.  If anything he breeds negativity and we don’t need this right now.

So here’s to websites not having to spell out his name anymore.  I really hope he just fades away.   Plus as a fellow Milo, This is Us star Milo Ventimiglia can’t be happy about any of this.
