Thankfully shows like Rick and Morty and The Simpsons are around to somewhat fill the void left by the ending of Futurama. While the show officially ended in 2013, there’s still hope that it will be resurrected. Perhaps Matt Groening is simply waiting for the right time or the right network to bring it to. And it’s not as if fanfare has gotten any lower for the show as evidenced by the fact that a new mobile RPG game called “Worlds of Tomorrow” is coming out imminently.
But until the day we actually read the announcement that the show will officially be back we have to get our Futurama fill and nostalgia from other places. Take the photo above for example. It sure looks like the architect of this building had Calculon in mind when doing his designs. How else can you explain the perfectly placed “eyes?” You know that somewhere Calculon is sitting there very proud and waiting to do a dramatic pause once Futurama is called back to television.
