One of the things that people love about Keanu Reeves is that he’s such a great and awful actor at the same time. Think about it. He gets reamed for every single time he makes a stupid face and says “Whoa.” Yet at the same time he’s been in some of the largest blockbusters in movie history and has amassed a net worth of over $300 million. This doesn’t happen by accident or by bad acting. We’ve been following Reeves for over 30 years and now in his 50s he’s creating a new “John Wick” chapter in his career.
Over the course of these 30 years Reeves has played roles that range from goofing off around time and space in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure or murdering bad guys who don’t like puppies in John Wick. He’s gained a ton of weight for roles and lost a ton of weight for roles. He’s picked up a particular accent for a role, and he’s lost an accent for a role. Whether he’s Johnny Utah or Neo, it doesn’t matter. We all pay attention to Keanu Reeves.
Speaking of which, the guy’s at Joblo created an awesome tribute video to his career. But there’s a catch. It’s accompanied by narration using an incredibly long rhyming poem. Don’t worry, you’ll like it.
