The Bold and the Beautiful fans will see things turn around for Hope today. She is finally getting all she’s been wanting since she showed back up in town and made it her mission to spend all the time she could possibly manage with Liam. She’s been acting like all she wants is to keep them together and denying her own feelings, but she finally let them loose. She told him how she feels, that she wants to be with him, and that Steffy is horrible for him. Now she’s finally managed to get what she wants. She got him to leave Steffy and propose to her.
And today she gets to tell the world that she is marrying Liam. They will make a public announcement about their engagement and impending wedding, and the people will react differently. We aren’t entirely sure what they expected to happen when they made this announcement. He’s married. To a pregnant woman. And then he shows up engaged to another woman. It’s not a good look.
And then there is the fact that Hope showed back up and basically stole the husband of a married woman. We aren’t even talking about what happened with Steffy and Bill — that happened long before Hope showed up and it has nothing to do with what is happening with Hope now. And they will find that some people just aren’t all that happy about their engagement.
And Hope will actually be furious. She will not understand why people aren’t happy with her. She won’t get why people aren’t happy for her for being engaged, and she will not understand why no one wants to go to her wedding when that all happens. She will be very confused and upset by this — it probably won’t even occur to her that she did anything wrong by stealing the husband of a pregnant woman in the middle of their own reconciliation. She won’t get it, and it will infuriate her. And this is going to be one of the most dramatic meltdowns. In fact, we have a feeling that Steffy will get Liam in the end. And Hope will get nothing.
