Bold and the Beautiful fans are so surprised that Ridge is so surprised. He knew that Brooke told him that she and Hope would do whatever it took to get Douglas to become Hope’s son, and they did. Of course, he is not aware that his son is dead or that Hope had something to do with it. Brooke will not allow her to share that, as it might not look good for her. Well, why would it look good for her? It’s a total mess and she’s not going to live this one down. Things are not looking good for her, and we get that. But we also get that there is a lot more going on that just this. She has some issues she has to focus on and live through, and we know that she will get that accomplished. She has a lot in her life that works out for her, but not much else will make the world seem better.
Liam and Steffy seem to be sharing more than a few moments lately. They’ve been spending a lot of time together, probably because Hope is off making sure she can steal Thomas’ child and happiness from his life. What we did see was that the two of them made a rather large promise to one another that they would spend as much time together as a family as possible. Liam and Steffy both feel that she is a mother to his little girl after adopting her and raising her so long, and he will allow this for her. She is loving it, and it works out for her in a manner that is going to make the world seem like a better place. We don’t get what the problem is, of course, but we also know that some things aren’t going to change.

Ridge has to make a choice. He has to decide how he is going to handle the situation with his wife and her daughter. He’s not happy that things are not going well for him, and he’s not happy that Hope managed to trick his son into giving her custody of his son. He’s going to lose his mind when he sees them, and he will let them have it. He’s not happy with them. Brooke might be able to handle his explosion, but we are not all that sure that Hope can. She doesn’t like it when people are upset with her as a whole, but she also doesn’t like it when people aren’t happy with the situation. She killed Thomas, and she will not be able to hear his father screaming at her for something entirely different. It’s an ugly situation.
Then there is the fact that Brooke is going to do all she can to make sure that her daughter is not caught for this. She’s going to do all she can to cover for her daughter, and she’s also going to try and make Ridge happy. If he is happy with them, then he will not be so willing to believe that her own daughter accidentally killed his son. He doesn’t even know yet that Thomas is gone and dead, and we don’t know how that will go down and how anyone will find out the truth. It will probably not be all that pretty, though. That we can be certain of.
