Over the weekend a group of young dancers got the surprise of a lifetime. After a performance at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in Los Angeles, none other than Beyoncé happened to greet the dancers to tell them how great she thought they were. Needless to say they were completely stunned with one of them even bowing down for Queen Bey. Beyoncé came out in support of her mother Tina Lawson, who was at the performance with the young women in her mentorship group, Tina’s Angels.
“Backstage after the Alvin Ailey dancers performance it was magnificent,” Lawson captioned a photo taken backstage. “With my beautiful Tina’s Angels and with a few of the mentors. My very gracious daughter who met the girls and spent some time with them and made their day!”
Beyonce has already cancelled her headlining appearance plans at Coachella and seems poised to take it easy and keep a low profile until her twins arrive. I gotta say. Is there anything not to like about Beyonce? She could easily be the meanest person if she wanted to (and still get away with being loved by everyone) but she’s a legitimately awesome human being.
