Remember everyone’s biggest gripe about the show Friends? Everyone was always confused at the fact that these people in their 20s could afford massive 2 bedroom apartments in the middle of Manhattan when one was a struggling actor, another worked in a coffee shop, one’s a chef, and the other was always in between jobs. It never made sense and it never will. There’s just no way they’d be able to afford it in the real world.
There’s another set of characters who lived lavishly in New York City and that set is Superheroes. While in their instances the superheroes had the money to pay for these apartments, it’s still interesting to try and figure out exactly how much these apartments would go for in today’s market. I mean, can you imagine how much Bruce Wayne’s penthouse would be today? Unfortunately that one’s not covered but we do have figures on a few others.
Luckily someone took the time out to analyze just how much it would cost for Superheroes to live in their pads in NYC, and as you might imagine, these places don’t come cheap (even the crappy ones).
