First Supernatural Season 6 Trailer

You know what? I can’t wait. I have to post this right now, because the minute I learned that a trailer for Supernatural season 6 aired at some point tonight during the Vampire Diaries or Nikita premieres, I was burning up the internet searching for it.
And it doesn’t disappoint, even if it’s filmed off of someone’s television. But I’m conflicted. I like Lisa. I’ve always liked Lisa. But I don’t like domesticated (shirt tucked-in) Dean. I’m also kind of concerned about the potential continuation of the brothers’ fractured relationship, especially seeing as Dean is understandably upset that Sam has been back from Hell for months and failed to tell him.
The sixth season of Supernatural premieres on Friday, September 24 (right after the tenth season premiere of Smallville). We’ve already posted promo photos for the premiere episode (view them here), so you should go check them out. In the meantime, enjoy the trailer below. Here’s hoping the CW will post an official one tomorrow that I can show you as well (maybe a longer one….please?!).
Ohhh, I just noticed that they’ve brought back the original kid who played Ben in the season 3 episode “The Kids Are Alright”, which is awesome, because I LOVE that kid.
UPDATED: the official CW promo was released and is posted below. Watch two more promos for season 6 here.
MITCH PILEGGI (“X-Files,” “Sons of Anarchy”) RETURNS AS DEAN AND SAM’S GRANDFATHER
It’s a year later and Dean (Jensen Ackles) has given up hunting and is living with Lisa (guest star Cindy Sampson) and her son Ben (guest star Nicholas Elia).
Mysteriously freed from his cage in hell, Sam (Jared Padalecki) finds Dean and tells him he needs to rejoin the fight and introduces Dean to a world—a family—he never even knew existed: the Campbells, his mother’s family, lead by none other than their Grandfather Samuel (Pileggi). Phil Sgrricia directed the episode written by Sera Gamble.
