Allison Holker is an American dancer who is best known for her appearances on the competition television series So You Think You Can Dance. But her on-screen career goes back much further than that. However, she became famous in the second season of the show when she entered the competition.

Holker put down roots and got married to the Late Stephen ‘tWitch” Boss in 2013. On some occasions, she goes by the name Allison Holker Boss. The couple was still together at the time of his demise and have two lovely children together. However, Holker has three children in total, as she has a child from a previous relationship.
Her first child Weslie Renae Fowler was a result of her relationship with an ex-boyfriend. She was born in May 2008. Holker’s second is called Maddox Boss, and she was born in March 2016. Then her third child, Zaia Boss, was born in November 2019.

Holker was just nine when she took her first dance lesson. She enrolled in classes at The Dance Club, a studio in Orem, Utah. While she was there, she developed a fondness for jazz, ballet, tap, and contemporary dance. This led her to make these forms of dance her specialty. No doubt, Holker had natural talent, and the training she received helped to fully develop her potential as a professional performer.
4. She Performed At The 2002 Olympic Games
Among many of her honors, this one certainly takes the cup. Holker was invited to dance at the 2002 Olympic games. She performed with the legendary band Earth, Wind, and Fire at both the opening and closing ceremonies. This gave her exposure to a host of other opportunities as the entire world was watched.

Holker began entering dance competitions in the year 2004. This was two years before she graduated from high school. She won Company Dance in Colorado that same year. She also won the New York City Dance Alliance competition in 2005, which was just a year before she finished high school. Remarkably, she was able to keep up with both without missing a beat.
6. She Is Quite A Famous Dancer
In 2005, Holker was privileged to dance in the Ballroom with a Twist Tour. The performances were choreographed by Louis van Amstel of Dancing with the Stars. She also performed in Revolution, which was a prominent tap show. In addition, she danced in the second season of So You Think You Can Dance between 2005 and 2006. But that’s not all, Holker was also a performer in the So You Think You Can Dance Tour alongside six other dancers in the competition.
7. Holker Is Also A Teacher
Besides achieving all she has as a professional dancer, Holker also teaches dance. She’s been involved in a variety of dance workshops and conventions. She teaches different dance forms across America. To top it all off, she happens to be an excellent instructor who shares her passion and talents with others. More notably, Holker has been teaching dance since she was a mere 14 years old.
8. She Has Also Appeared On Television
Her talents don’t just end at dancing and teaching, Holker is also a professional actress. She has seven credits in her acting portfolio. The multifaceted star made her acting debut in 2006, appearing as a cheerleader in the movie High School Musical. The next year, Allison Holker played the role of an East High dancer in the movie High School Musical 2. She was a dancer in an episode of the TV show House in 2011 and also an uncredited role as a dancer in Footloose.
It didn’t end there because, in 2013, she played the role of Gina in Make Your Move, and she landed a recurring role as Devil Girl in the TV series Hit the Floor from 2013 through 2014. Her last known work on a film set was in a video short as herself in R5: All Night. Holker’s amazing dancing career has opened up numerous opportunities for her in the entertainment industry.
