Young and the Restless fans see a lot of one true loves come and go, and we cannot help but wonder when you know you are someone’s one true love. They can be with more than one person and even get married, but you just sort of know. There are some couples who belong together, who will always end up together, and who cannot stay away from one another. And then there are some who are just in the moment for a passing, and then they are gone. We like to think of them as ships in the night. They pass when they have a moment, and then they go about their own lives when they are finished. That happens more than anything else, and that’s why we want to remind you of a few of the couples we almost forget ever happened over the years.
Paul and Lauren
They are both still around, and that is one of those things we love. They are long-term Genoa City residents, but they were also in love at one point. More to the point, they just thought they were in love at one point. They probably were not in any way in love, but they did have a thing. They made it a thing in the 80s when they were actually pretty good together. But, it did not work out. They did get married, and they were married for some time. His mother did not love his choice in wife, and they did not work out. We cannot even remember why they didn’t work out, but we do love that they stayed friendly. In fact, they stayed so friendly that they are friends, and that is the reason that they totally forget that they were every anything more than just friends with one another.
Victor and Julia
Is it hard to imagine him with anyone other than Nikki, except for maybe the few times he and Ashley had a thing? It’s so easy to forget that there were other women, but Julia does stand to mention. He married her before he married any other woman in Genoa City, and that’s something that should be mentioned. They were a couple before he was with anyone else, but she was not a big fan of how overprotective he was with her. He left her alone at home all the time, but he did not like her to make friends, go out, or have any fun without him. As a result, she was always by herself. She decided to sleep with another man, and that was the end of their marriage. They didn’t last, and they never had a second chance with one another. But, he did have some great relationships after that one.
Kevin and Lily
Rumor has it that he is coming back, and we are so excited about that. He’s been gone long enough to have a role on another soap playing a horrible villain we all loved to hate, and that was something we did enjoy. However, there was a time before Cane came into the world and into her life that she was with Kevin. They seem like a very unlikely couple, do they not? That’s because they are a very unlikely couple. However, they were more like teens than adults, and that worked in their favor. They met when he was still the evil version of himself. She was obsessed with him and his awful ways, and that was the appeal for her. She liked his bad-boy persona a lot. She was young. He was much older, and he decided to see where he could get with her.
He tricked her into being with him, and that was very ugly because she was so young. They didn’t last because of his creepy old ways, but he did change into a much nicer, much kinder, much more appropriate person over the years. For that, we are so thankful. We did not like him when he was that guy, but we do like him so much more now. And we cannot wait to see him come back. Maybe they have a chance with one another again now that she is single. Kidding. That is not something we want to see.
