Young and the Restless fans can’t decide who they love the most when it comes to the actors on the show, and they have a lot to choose from. His untimely death in 2019 shocked the world, but that didn’t put him on this list. He was on it long before he died unexpectedly and crushed the hearts of his friends, family, and his fans. He was Neil for so long we can’t even remember the show without him. The loss of an actor with such talent and such a profound understanding of his own role is a crushing blow to this show, and we all mourn his loss. He’s someone we loved and respected, and we will always remember him in this wonderful role.
Doug Davidson
He’s the man who has been on the show for the longest time. No, really. He’s been here for the longest time. He is the longest running actor on the show, and he’s been in the role since 1978. That makes him many years older than even myself, and that’s impressive. He was on this show playing this role when most of us were not even born yet, and that’s why so many people love him and appreciate him for what he does. He’s a man who spends a lot of his time focused on how good it is to be where he is, and we love that about him. He was gone for a short time, but they knew how much they had to get him back on the show or they would risk losing fans, money, and their reputation.
Eric Braedon
It’s so hard for us to fathom that there was time when the show wrote in a man by the name of Victor Newman and we were only meant to see him in the middle of the game for a second. He wasn’t there to do anything more than play a role for a quick period of time — a few months at most — and he never left. He never left because fans love him to the end of the earth and back. He’s managed to take this role and make it so good that no one can imagine the show without him. He came into the lives of fans and hit them so hard with his talent that no one was able to him coming, and now no one can imagine seeing him go. He is a close second in terms of being the absolute favorite, and we think you know who we feel is the best of the best around here.
Peter Bergman
Of all the men in all the shows in all the world, he is the only Jack Abbott we can imagine. He is so good. He is such a force. He is a daytime soap all in his own light. This man has been around for so long that we cannot imagine daytime television without him, but he’s also made this character a powerhouse in everything he does. He’s mastered the art of being the man we all love to hate, yet we all just love. He’s bad, but he is good. He’s unlovable and unlikable, but we love him and we like him. He is all the things, and we just cannot imagine anything better than being around him when we have the chance. He’s a man who has more to offer than we can imagine, and we love that about him. What more could we want than a chance to see him succeed in all he does? Nothing — that’s what. He is a fan favorite, and the most beloved man on the show no matter what anyone else has to say.
