The Bold and the Beautiful fans were so sad watching Hope react to the news that Steffy is going to adopt a baby girl. She’s just lost her own baby girl, and Steffy has a baby girl — with Hope’s husband — and now she is getting the opportunity to have a second baby girl in a year? Hope is seeing nothing but red fury and green envy in the moment, and we kind of get it. We realistically know that Hope should not expect Steffy to live her own life working on her feelings so that they don’t hurt Hope, but we also get that Hope is hurt. She’s beside herself with pain and with so much sadness, and our hearts break for her. This baby girl is just one more knife in her heart, and she is not sure she can continue like this. Liam, however, is just not sure how she can be so callous and mean about something he finds so lovely.
We cannot help but think that this is the moment in which there is a small shift in their own marriage, and we are not sure that they can come back from this. She’s not taking this well at all, and it’s understandable, but it’s getting to be about everything. Furthermore, she’s now demanding answers from her own doctor about things that aren’t going to make her happier, and she’s not sure what is going to happen when she moves on from this. Ridge, on the other hand, is so happy and emotional for his little girl and the new little girl she is going to bring into her family. It’s going to be one of the most crushing realizations when the truth comes out about this baby — and we are sure the truth will come out about this baby in the near future.

Ridge is so happy for his daughter and the fact that she has found this baby to adopt, but he’s not entirely comfortable with the entire situation. In fact, both he and Brooke are not sure that there is a reason that this is going so fast. The entire adoption is being expedited in a way that seems more than a little questionable to them, and they are going to ask some questions. They are both very happy for her and the new baby, of course, but they have a bad feeling about this. And we get it. They are not sure that this is supposed to happen this way, but they don’t know what to say or do at the moment. We can expect to see them have a few conversations about this, however, and she might not like it.
Reese is going to have to do something to make this right with the people to whom he owes money. He has to pay up, or he will end up with a dead daughter. He cannot leave Zoe in that kind of problem, and this is why this entire adoption situation is working so fast. If he can do this quickly, he can get the money he needs to pay this debt, and he can protect his daughter in the meantime. But, for now, he’s struggling. And people are beginning to ask questions. Taylor might be asking some before much longer herself, but only because Ridge is going to push her to ask them.
