The Bold and the Beautiful fans are not exactly the kind of fans who expect things to work out on a regular basis. We’ve known for many years that nothing ever works out for these people and that things never really go the way that people want them to go. We know that LA is a tough city in general, but the fact that these are people who have so much to offer one another is just one more way that we can get through the plot twists and shockers as a whole. This was a year that brought us so many shocking moments, twists we never saw coming, and so much more. This is a show that is very good at bringing us twists that do make things seems a little bit like they shouldn’t have been that way, but we love every moment of it. And these just happen to be some of our favorite plot twists of 2018.
Hope’s Pregnancy
We all thought that Hope showed up to make life miserable for Steffy, and we were right about that. Of course, she pretended she wasn’t there for that reason. And she may have even decided she really honestly felt that way about her life. She’s a woman who has a lot to offer the people in her life, but she’s also a woman who has a lot to do with everyone else. She’s a mess, but we know that she can get her life together if she really does want to. She’s going to have some issues to work out, of course, but her showing up to help Steffy and Liam repair their marriage only to end up in bed with him and then engaged to him was too much. But to find out that on their wedding day that it wasn’t what he wanted and that he wanted to be with Steffy, it was too much more — we thought that might be it for a while. And then Hope is sick, and then she’s pregnant with his baby. And now we are all amazed at all of this and what it means for this show in general.
Taylor Shot Bill
Remember when Bill was shot and we were all basically sure it was either Liam or Ridge that did it? And we all went back and forth trying to figure out who pulled that trigger and what went down? We didn’t see it coming that it might be Taylor who did it, but we aren’t all that surprised, either. She’s a woman who is not all that happy with things in her own life as they are, and she’s also someone who will take her time and get her life together so that she can make it work out for her and in her favor. She’s not working the same way we are, and that’s good news. But, she did shoot him, and that’s not really what worked out for us as the most shocking part of all of this. What really set it off as being the most shocking was the fact that he didn’t pursue this. He decided to let it go as a favor to Steffy, and that was the most shocking.
Sally and Wyatt
Who thought for even one moment that there was a chance these two would work out? For one, we all thought that she was gone and never coming back, and we all thought he might just marry his father’s ex-wife for a hot minute. But then Sally shows up in town, everyone hates her, but she decides she’s going to push through that in any way that she can, and we decide that we are going to get into this situation with her. She comes back, she pushes for what she wants, and she ends up with a lot more. We did think that she would show up and cause problems for the Steffy/Liam/Hope trio that they really did not see coming, but she did not. In fact, she only decided that she would fall for Wyatt, tame herself, and make a name for herself in LA that is good and beautiful. And we love that about her.
