The 3 Most Ridiculous Days of Our Lives Deaths of All-Time

Days of Our Lives fans know that there is a lot that can happen in a day, and death is one of those things. WE also know that there is nothing we can do about most of that but sit back and watch as the show kills off our favorite characters. However, we can discuss some of our favorites. We say favorites lightly, to be quite honest. We don’t love watching our favorite characters die off into the night — but the knowledge that so many of them come back at some point does help ease the blow just a bit — but we get it. They need ratings, we need entertainment, and we all want to see things go down the way that they need to go down. But, let’s face the facts; Some deaths are a bit more ridiculous than others, and we’re ranking three of our least favorite deaths on the show over the years based solely on how unbelievable they were.

Patch and the Explosion

Remember that one time many, many years ago — in the early 90s if we are not mistaken — when Steve decided he was going to go into a career as a policeman? It was already farfetched for us considering all that he’d done in his other career and in his life, but that is definitely another story for another day. The man decided he would give up his life of crime and high-paying jobs to become a cop. Whatever. But as he was snooping around on a boat docked at the marina, he found a note written to someone and he went to open it. The moment he picked it up, the boat exploded.

Now, we all remember that he did not die in that explosion, and that was a nice thing. However, he did have some issues in the middle of that situation. He was in a coma, which is never appealing. And then he was in the hospital fighting for his life when Lawrence Alamain decided that he should have died. He didn’t, though, so he came into the hospital and poisoned him via his IV. And we all know that happens all the time, right? He died. Except he came back.

Cassie Brady

This one really does make us raise an eyebrow in judgement. She was new to town for like a minute and a half when she was certainly the victim of a horrible death. It was all going down in the early 2000s when the Salem Stalker was going around killing everyone and making sure they died a horrible death. She was just minding her own business on Thanksgiving when the stalker decided to kill her. It was a dramatic moment that ended in her death, our laughter, and a lot of “What just happened’ going on in our minds. She was killed with the killer stabber her. With a pinata. First and foremost, who even uses pinatas on Thanksgiving? And second, really? We were just left with a lot more questions than we were actual answers after that one.

Alice Horton

Okay, so we all remember when the Salem Stalker was in town trying to make everyone miserable by killing them and the people they loved, but this is one that just doesn’t do much more than make us all feel a little crazed and interested in what is going on. For one, we do know that there is much that might happen around here, but the other situation is that her death was just, well, it was just. She died when the killer decided to take the donuts she was so famous for making and choke her with them. If that is not the most unbelievable kind of death you can imagine, we don’t know what is. In fact, we can’t decide if her death is more or less likely than the death of Cassie from the same killer, who died with the stabling of a pinata. Actually, these are the two most ridiculous and we think that they should tie for the most. Does that make any sense, or do you think you can come up with a death from over five decades of them that’s even more ridiculous?
