10 Things You Didn’t Know About Days of Our Lives’ James Scott

We’ve been watching Days of Our Lives for a long time, and we know that you know that we know there are some major story lines that aren’t entirely answered well. For example, we know that while Sami is back, she’s currently looking for some answers about EJ DiMera, the man to whom she was married. She thought he was dead, but it turns out she has some questions about things and the way they are going. Is there a chance he is not as dead as his family might think? If that is true, there is a good chance we might see James Scott show up again in the near future. If EJ is alive and the show brings back the man who was once EJ DiMera rather than going through a recast, we thought we might get to know a few more things about the elusive James Scott.

1. He’s British

He was born and raised in England. He was born on January 14, 1979. He was born in Jesmond, Newcastle Upon Tyne. It’s a little place in England he likes to call home.

2. He’s Known For Another Soap Role

Before he was EJ DiMera, he was another character on another famous soap. He was actually a man called Ethan Cambias on All My Children. He played that role for many years, but he did not stick around after 2006 when he moved over to Days.

3. He’s the Oldest Child

Not only is he the oldest child in his house, he is the oldest of four kids. He has two brothers and one sister, and we can only imagine how spoiled his sister must have been as a child being the only girl in a house filled with boys.

4. He Went to An All Boys School

When he was a child, he was sent to an all-boys school in Lancaster. It was a boarding school, which is not all that uncommon in that part of the world. His parents did what many parents do when they have children that age; they sent them to boarding school.

5. He’s Part Scottish

His mother is part Scottish, so she spent plenty of time in Scotland as a child, too. He enjoyed the time he spent there getting to know his heritage and spending time with his mother’s family.

6. He Was Discovered

When he moved back to London, he was discovered by an agent working for Storm Model Management. They represented people like Kate Moss and Elle MacPherson, so this was a big deal to him.

7. A Class Encouraged Him To Move to LA

He had to go to LA for a modeling trip at one point, and he went to a class while he was there. That class gave him the idea to start saving his money so he could move to LA and start his life there. He was ready to do it, and it worked.

8. A Matchmaker Introduced Him to His Wife

It’s amazing how he met his wife, and it all has to do with “Millionaire Matchmaker’s” Patty Stanger. They met on the set of Days when she was doing one of her many guest appearances, and she just knew that she had the right woman for him. She was right, because he met and dated Kaitlin Robinson many years ago, and they ended up getting married back in 2015 in a very quiet ceremony they did not share with anyone else.

9. His Wife is Successful

His wife, Kaitlin, is a famous clinical psychotherapist and coach in LA. She wants to make sure her patients are given the best chance at having a good life. She not only listens to her patient, she also helps them find a way to make the most of their lives by coaching them to live the best possible lives they can.

10. He Was A Famous Bachelor

For a long time before he met his wife, he was known as one of the most eligible bachelor’s on daytime television. He was engaged at one point to a model, but that didn’t work out. There were many women who would have loved to try and call him their own, but it didn’t work out for them in their lives. They were simply people who didn’t get it together in time for him to make it serious, but he eventually did settle down with a lovely wife.
