The Three Best Male Characters on The Bold and the Beautiful

The Bold and the Beautiful fans never disagree about things. We are always on one side or the other, but we have our favorites. We love some characters a lot more than others, though that certainly doesn’t mean that we aren’t in love with other characters, too. We just love some more than we love the others, and it’s all because we know what they are capable of doing, how they work, and what they have to offer. We are going to stop you for a moment and tell you that we think there are just a few people who stand out to us more than others, and they are all men today. Are they your favorite male characters, too, or do you have someone else in mind?

Wyatt Spencer

He can be a bit of a needy one sometimes, but he’s kind. He’s probably the kindest man on this show, and we love that about him. We adore the fact that he loves his friends, his family, and everyone else, and he is always looking to do the right thing. He’s failed doing that in the past, but he is always trying to make his intentions good. He has a nasty habit of falling for the wrong woman, all the time, but he can keep it together and figure it out.

What we love about him is that since his marriage to Steffy, he’s managed to grow a lot. He’s found some other women to love, some other relationships to get him through, and he’s managed to become closer to his brother, Liam. He is someone who seems to have matured a lot in the past few years, and we enjoy that about him tremendously.

Bill Spencer

Wait. What? Did we just throw that name out on our favorite list of male characters from the show? We did — and we stand by that decision. He’s a nasty man. He’s a major villain. He’s a pain in the rear end every single day. He makes poor choices. He does terrible things. He doesn’t do anything for anyone, but he will take down anyone in his way so he can get what he wants. And we love that. We love every part of that and his personality.

He’s someone we just adore so much because of all of that. We don’t fault him at all for his shortcomings or the things he’s not doing as a person. Rather, we find that we love him even more because he is so unapologetically himself. We think that’s what makes him so awesome. He’s not trying to be someone he’s not. He doesn’t apologize for himself. He owns every second of it, and he moves on with that from his own point of view. He’s good. And he doesn’t even need our approval. That’s what we love about him.

Eric Forrester

He, too, has grown so much through the years. He’s also made some questionable choices, hurt people, and make his situation worse more than once, but he’s grown so much. He’s fallen into the role of laid back and chill. He’s there to make sure his family isn’t screwing everything up by offering advice without sticking himself directly into the middle of every single thing they do. He’s got some serious power, but he’s not abusing it. He’s become forgiving and sweet. And he’s really changed his ways as a person. He’s someone we cannot believe has changed so much, but he’s done a good job.

He’s also taken in a son he knows is not his, and he’s always raised that man as his own son. That’s something we know cannot be easy, especially when that son has gone behind his back. He’s cheated on his own fiancé with his father’s wife, he’s made poor choices, and he’s really messed things up. But Eric has always been there for Ridge, and that’s been something we’ve enjoyed for a very long time. We love that about him, and it’s a quality you don’t find in too many men — especially the men you find on a soap opera who are always out to keep number one happy and forget about everyone else in their lives.
